AEW star shockingly hit by a bus in New York

Darby Allin has revealed that he was hit by a bus while crossing the street in New York. He is currently dealing with a broken foot suffered on the March 16 episode of "Dynamite" in a loss to "Switchblade" Jay White.

Allin's situation has gone from bad to worse. He revealed his latest accident via his Instagram page on Saturday.

Fortunately, Allin wasn't too badly injured. In his Instagram post, you can see that he is sporting some heavy taping on his nose. In the second slide, there is a more graphic image showing the full extent of his injury.

Judging by the post, it would appear that he avoided any significant injury. Nevertheless, it's another setback for the fan favorite who recently abandoned plans to climb Mt. Everest due to his foot injury.

Fellow AEW star Brody King tried to keep the mood light by taking to social media and joking that he was the one driving the bus.

Allin will likely be away from AEW programming for the foreseeable future. Not only does his foot need time to heal, but now he will likely need to be monitored to ensure there are no underlying issues from his accident with the bus.

2024 started great for one of AEW's young pillars. He won the tag team championship with Sting in February. He then was part of Sting's retirement match at AEW Revolution before suffering his foot injury shortly after.

When Allin returns to AEW programming, it will be interesting to see how CEO Tony Khan positions him for a feud with White or potentially with King. Whatever AEW's creative team decides to do, Allin will surely be welcomed back by the fan base, especially after his latest stroke of bad luck.
